Haroldo Jacobovicz is a Brazilian entrepreneur and civil engineer. He has built a career around his passion for the power of transformational technologies. He is the founder of several telecom and communication companies, such as Horizons Telecom. The respected company was founded in 2010 after many years of extensive experience working with information solutions.
It has since grown to one of the best telecommunication suppliers in Brazil. Horizon Telecom uses a 100% fiber network, the most advanced pieces of equipment in the market, and a multi-point redundancy point. In 2020, an extension of Horizon Telecoms, Horizons Datacenter, was launched to enhance cloud capabilities and connectivity for organizations and businesses everywhere.
Haroldo Jacobovicz joined the Federal University of Parana for civil engineering studies in 1977. Before attaining his diploma, he and his three friends started Microsystem in 1982. Microsystem provided IT services for supermarkets, stores, and pharmacies to help simplify the management of inventory. Though the business did not make it, it provides valuable lessons for young Haroldo.
After school, Haroldo Jacobovicz started working for Esso, known as the current ExxonMobil, and he rose through the ranks quickly to become a market analyst. Later, he was transferred to corporate headquarters in Rio de Janeiro to supervise commercial tactics and new business in a new territory. In 1986, Jacobovicz moved back home to work in Itaipu Binacional as the advisor to the Technical Board.
Haroldo says that his career journey has not been smooth sailing. As a serial entrepreneur, he started Minauro Company, e-Governe Group, Horizons Telecom, and Horizons Datacenter. These companies are making a huge transformational impact on the public. He works on offering businesses informational technology solutions for businesses. Haroldo Jacobovicz is also dedicated to coming up with innovative business solutions that promote people’s daily lives.
